Branches splintered
Upon the return
Of the coming winter
A storm brews along the horizon
Obscured by the dew coated foliage
Taking its last breath
Before the cold frost kills
Again another season
The green tones blackened
Will not see the light again
The seasons change
But only soil remains
The skies are darkened
By the suns last breath
The cold moon calls
For howling wind on a dying earth
Summer is gone
The hope of autumn
Is all but a memory
And spring is too far away
Winter is where you will stay
Is where I will stay
Is where we are

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
